Have you ever considered Yoga as a hobby?
There are a multitude of benefits to the spiritual Indian practice. Some of which include the physical health benefits such as Cardiovascular endurance, lowered blood pressure, increased blood circulation, and a stable metabolism. Some of the not so obvious physical benefits include; improved posture, increased energy, core strength and increased balance, and more favorable sleeping patterns. Furthermore, there are many spiritual and emotional benefits of routinely engaging in yoga. Yoga has been known to reduce stress, hostility, depression, and anxiety. It may induce calmness, improve memory, and improve one’s overall mind-body awareness and acceptance.
So, why not partake it yoga? You might think classes are too expensive. The internet is a great place to start. There are lots of free resources online that can help you learn beginner’s yoga poses. You may need some supplies to get started. I’ve found a Yoga Ball is a great tool, especially for balance and core strength activities.
This fitness ball from NDN LINE on Amazon is a great choice!
(This company also offers really cute bouncy animals, which would make a great gift for little ones.)

At the low retail price, you really cant beat this product. A lot of yoga balls run $15+, whereas this one is currently listed at $10. You can purchase this item at either 55 or 65 cm. There is no pump included. I bought one for $5 at Walmart. It took about 15 minutes to inflate it by hand, but we are talking about an exercise tool here…. so we can’t complain too much.
I’ve found the ball is pretty sturdy. I weigh about 125 lbs. and have the ball almost fully inflated. It did not give out or pop. Actually, I probably could’ve safely pumped more air into the ball, but let’s get real. My arm was freaking tired.
While this ball is great for Yoga or Pilates, you may find there are other great uses for the ball. Some parents of Autistic children have found that Yoga Balls are great for sensory relief. Bouncing on the ball can help provide focus. “Rolling” your child gently with the ball can help provide sensory stimulation and calm your child. *Tested and Proven true, my nephew with Autism loved this trick.*
I think this a high quality Yoga ball for a low price. I can faithfully recommend this product to anyone who’s interested in bettering their lives by adding a new Yoga regimen.
